Sorry for the neglect in posts!

I didn't realize how many people checked up on me until I stopped posting for a month and a half...  :)

Just not doing a very good job at keeping up on the blog apparently.

Another first

I've never really 'photographed' a funeral before.

I was nervous to "get in there" for something that is usually so private, and emotional.

But, I think as time passes, people are grateful to have pictures of the services.

This one is so tender and sweet to me...

A First

I was invited to photograph an open heart surgery (not on a human)

Never done that before!

These are the men that invented / created the device that was being implanted...I just loved how they stood at the end of the table framed between the dr's - watching closely.

Whenever I photograph seniors I am always so amazed...

They smile!

They WANT to have their picture taken!

They don't cry and run away from me!

They lean and pose just as I tell them to!

I don't have to bribe them!

Oh, and I end the session with TONS of energy!

(compared to photographing children...)
